Privacy Policy

This policy describes how treazuredownloader.com and the Treazure Downloader apps (Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS / TestFlight) handle personal information.
What we collect
- Account email and name you provide at signup
- Subscription and payment status via PayPal (we do not store full card numbers)
- License validation from the apps: license key, a random device identifier, platform (e.g. windows / android / ios), and success or failure of the check
- Optional waitlist email and download analytics (platform, build channel)
- Anonymous site usage via Google Analytics (page views, approximate location, device) when enabled — used to understand traffic sources
What stays on your device
Downloaded files, queue entries, local settings, and (on desktop) browser cookies used by extractors remain on your device. We do not upload your media library to our servers. The Chrome extension talks to a localhost bridge on desktop only — it does not upload your media to us.
On iOS, files you download are stored in the app’s sandbox (and can be shared out via the system Share sheet). Paste / queue URLs you enter are kept locally on the device unless you clear them.
How we use data
To authenticate you, deliver trial/Pro access, process PayPal subscriptions, validate licenses across platforms, send product updates you opt into, and improve reliability and marketing performance.
App Store privacy summary (iOS)
Data linked to you that we may process in connection with the iOS app:
- Contact info — account email (via your Treazure account on the website)
- Identifiers — license key you enter; app-generated device id used only for license checks
- Purchases — subscription / entitlement status (processed on our servers via PayPal; not through Apple In‑App Purchase in the current build)
We do not use the iOS app for tracking across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
Processors
We use Supabase (auth/database), PayPal (payments), Vercel (hosting), Expo / EAS (iOS build distribution when applicable), and Google Analytics / Search Console (site measurement and indexing). Their policies apply to data they process on our behalf.
Your choices
You may request account deletion or a data export from Support or by emailing support@treazuredownloader.com. Uninstalling the iOS app removes local downloads and settings stored in the app sandbox.
